Who We Are
While we are based in Melbourne, our clients operate out of Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania as well as Victoria and we are regularly on site in other states. We also count a number of overseas businesses amongst our regular clients. With most of our work occurring by phone and email we have not found geographic location to have presented any barrier to providing effective advice.
Gerhard Moll is principal of G.M. Legal. He has practised as a commercial, financial services and technology lawyer in a number of major Melbourne commercial law firms for the last 14 years. For 2 1/2 years he was also the managing director (and founder) of a (profitable) online legal solutions provider. He is currently completing his Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne with a focus on intellectual property law and capital raising.
Matthew Clarke is a commercial lawyer who had 9 years experience in litigious and non-litigious commercial matters and non-litigious matters before joining G.M. Legal in 2007. He is currently completing his Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne focusing on financial services law and corporate structuring.
Kassem Seedat is a property and commercial lawyer who has practised commercial and property law in South Africa, Western Australia and at mid-tier Melbourne law firms for over 10 years.
Sean Heng heads the firm's property law department. He has practised in property and commercial law in Malaysia and Australia, cumulatively for over 12 years. Sean is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia, enabling him to communicate well with foreign investors and clients.
Chanel Peters is a paralegal with the firm who is currently completing the final year of her Bachelor of Laws degree.
Support Staff
Leanne Bailey is the office manager and receptionist with many years experience in business administration.
Ashleigh Rachwalski provides part-time support to the solicitors and will be commencing her formal legal studies in 2009.
